St Pauls Walden Bury & Vanstone Park Garden Centre We will visit St Pauls
Walden Bury in Hertfordshire, a landscape garden laid out in the early 18th
Century. Then on to Vanstone Park Garden Centre for a bit of retail therapy. (Arranged in conjunction
with Langford Gardening Club) |

Fullers Mill Garden We head over to Suffolk to
visit Fuller’s Mill, a plantsman’s garden now in the trusteeship of the
gardening charity, Perennial. Later there should be time to visit Bury St
Edmunds and Simpsons Nursery. (Arranged in conjunction
with Cambs & Beds Group of The Hardy Plant Society) |

Burghley House and Gardens We will go to the north of
Cambridgeshire to see this fine example of an Elizabethan “prodigy” House.
Lancelot Brown laid out the parkland in the 18th Century. And in
the 21st century a sculpture garden and an innovative “Garden of
Surprises” have been created. (Arranged in conjunction
with Langford Gardening Club) |
